     Janice Ruben
     CEO
Janice Ruben has been involved with all aspects of continuing professional education and adult education for the past twenty-five years. Her extensive background includes managing the continuing education division nationally for Mark Dauberman CPE, which was a Washington Post Company. Ms. Ruben also served as Director of Marketing for a Southern California law school – and prior to that was the Marketing and Operations Director for an international accounting education company.

Since taking over as CEO, Janice has established a reputation for outstanding customer service – which sets FER apart from the other CPE providers. By overseeing the day-to-day activities she makes sure that all participants receive personal attention.

Ms. Ruben is a past president of the West Los Angeles chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and she has been actively involved with other groups, including the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and Women in Business (WIB).

Jay Ruben, the founder and Educational Development Director of FER, passed away on December 9^th, 1999.

An accomplished writer, Jay developed the course materials for many of FER's programs. With his great sense of humor, he estalished a reputation as a lively speaker presenting CPE courses in California, throughout the United States and overseas for almost 20 years and helped achieve the success of FER today.
