When should you sue a client for unpaid fees? Perhaps more importantly, when should you not sue. This course will examine the issues to consider when making this decision.

Key topics will include:

  • 5 things you can do to decrease the chance you may need to sue
  • How to make it easier to recover in the event that litigation is necessary
  • The use of Small Claims Court
  • When and how to involve an attorney in larger collection matters.

The objective of this class will be to understand how to make it more likely that your fees will be paid and how to collect your fees if they are not paid.
